As a result of their focus and training they have &lt;br&gt;learned to better incorporate their elemental-techniques into their skill &lt;br&gt;repertoire...&lt;br&gt; &lt;br&gt;I have made some CHANGES related to Samurai. Let me first acknowledge that &lt;br&gt;they are one of the STRONGEST melee classes in the game and so the goal of &lt;br&gt;the changes was not to increase them as-much-as imbed their elemental &lt;br&gt;attunement into their core “rotation”. &lt;br&gt; &lt;br&gt; &lt;br&gt;This will likely have some effect n “balance” but hopefully REWARD &lt;br&gt;those who focus on the elements.&lt;br&gt; &lt;br&gt;-=Attunement=-&lt;br&gt; &lt;br&gt;PREVIOUSLY when you gain an elemental influence you must always change &lt;br&gt;your style to that form to gain the attunement. This meant if you were &lt;br&gt;influenced to “fire” you would have to exit and re-style to fire to &lt;br&gt;gain the attunement.&lt;br&gt; &lt;br&gt; &lt;br&gt;NOW if you are in the “style” of your influence you automatically gain &lt;br&gt;the attunement.&lt;br&gt; &lt;br&gt;-=Elemental Strikes=-&lt;br&gt;PREVIOUSLY you had a 100% chance to proc elemental strikes against your &lt;br&gt;foe but only while in hitsu-do/fire only.&lt;br&gt; &lt;br&gt;NOW you have a significant (but not 100%) chance to proc elemental strikes &lt;br&gt;against your foe in ALL forms. So you can use all your forms and still &lt;br&gt;gain elemental benefits.&lt;br&gt; &lt;br&gt;-=Critical=-&lt;br&gt;PREVIOUSLY the skill “critical” would give you 0 attacks in &lt;br&gt;hitsu-do/fire style.&lt;br&gt; &lt;br&gt;NOW “critical” gives you 0 attacks in ALL forms (it is a single &lt;br&gt;perfect strike)but will proc your elemental attunement 100% of the time.&lt;br&gt; &lt;br&gt;-=Sweep=-&lt;br&gt;PREVIOUSLY the skill “sweep” would give you 0 attacks in all forms.&lt;br&gt; &lt;br&gt;NOW “sweep” gives you 0 attacks in all forms but will proc your &lt;br&gt;elemental attunement 100% of the time vs all foes hit (the amount of &lt;br&gt;damage is somewhat reduced as it’s a room attack).&lt;br&gt; &lt;br&gt; &lt;br&gt;-=Kukan-Do=-&lt;br&gt;PREVIOUSLY this skill has a trickle of healing that has been largely &lt;br&gt;invalidated by rest.&lt;br&gt; &lt;br&gt;NOW this skill still gives a trickle of healing BUT ALSO will greatly &lt;br&gt;reduce the rate you drop your “center”. This mostly just means as you &lt;br&gt;style-swap the brief time you are in Kukan-Do will keep your center up a &lt;br&gt;bit better.
