In the past we've<br>had good luck with the top mud site voting system, and I encourage<br>every to continue to use it. As such, after double checking the<br>rules of the different Top MUD site voting systems, I've modified<br>the environmental variable and vote reminder as follows:<br><br>1) If you have ever voted before, you are considered to have opted in by<br> the act of voting into the vote reminder.<br>2) If you wish to opt out of vote reminder simply set the account wide<br> en variable 'setenv no_vote_reminder 1'<br>3) Otherwise once every 10 minutes starting 12 hours from the last time<br> you have voted through http://www.thebigwave.net/ 's sidebar you will<br> be reminded to vote<br>4) Note, only votes done through the main page's sidebar are tracked for<br> the purposes of vote reminding. If you vote by visiting the sites<br> directly it will not be tracked.<br><br>This system is completely voluntary there's no benefits for doing it other<br>than increasing the player base and getting us more noticed.
